maybe this shows my age, but when people mention fergie, i think of the duchess of york, not of the prostitute, pants-wetting, meth head ex-singer of the black-eyed peas. in this article in the brown eye today about giving women what they want. and he referred to some women in this thai food restaurant as "fergies." is this a compliment? granted, if these women are dressed like fergie in her "my humps" video, then chances are they don't understand when you're making fun of them (nor are they really ingesting that thai food, if you catch my drift). but c'mon, people. "fergies?" our low-brow society can do better than that, right? right?
