a lot has happened
since my last post. steve irwin died. i went to chicago police headquarters. i stayed up late on tuesday night to rock out with scott and his friends. george ryan got 6.5 years for being a greedy bastard. i got 7 rolls of film developed and took stroll down memory lane. man, what a long strange trip this past week has been.
so, about that memory lane... out of 7 rolls, one was blank, one wasn't mine (it was "found" by me somewhere, but the pictures were so uninteresting that i didn't keep it. the photo guy really wanted the only good image of a dog, so i let him take it.), 4 were washed out but readable and one was acceptable. one roll was from new year's eve, one was from 2003, one was 2001-2003, and one was from 1993. yes, 1993. i wasn't even of legal drinking age. it was of cancer dave in arizona, december of 1993. holy cow. talk about a flashback. another roll was of my first job in chicago and some conference i didn't go to.
anyway, because they're made with real emulsion film, i have no way of showing them to you at this moment. i have no energy to scan them in, especially since i've disconnected my scanner. i've also got 3 black and white rolls that i'm having developed at gamma that i'm having put onto a CD, so those i'll be able to share (if there's anything left on the film).
other than that, nothing much is happening. i think of things to post on my blog, but then when i actually get here, they all escape my mind. it's like walking into a book store or a CD shop. if i don't keep lists of subjects (or books or CDs) i forget them completely.
alright, it's time to return some long over-due emails. maybe i'll be more interesting later.
