thoughts on blogger

now that i'm out of work, i don't have nearly enough time as i used to to surf the web. i had all of my favorite blogs bookmarked and i checked them often, sometimes twice a day. now that all of my free time is spent looking for a job or working on freelance gigs, i haven't been able to lurk as much. tonight i had some time to massage the "next blog" button. let me give you brief listing of what i found:

1. some "blog" for ringtones.
2. spanish
3. yo, dude! check out my blog! i just put it up today! s all over the place.
4. ANOTHER blog for ringtones.
5. a radio station blog.
6. an actual personal blog called "noah the stud."
7. another newly birthed blog. creatively named "ron's blog."

is this truly random? are they just trying to get those new blogs some hits? is there some way i can NOT see blogs that are in a language other than english? and what's up with these spam blogs? is anything sacred? i guess no open forum is going to be free of shysters and assholes looking for a buck.

now if you'll excuse me, i have to go read about spanish ringtones, dude.
