leaving on a jet plane

tomorrow i leave to go to anaheim, ca. woo-hoo! i get to stay at a disneyland hotel just blocks away from the convention center. and the weather there will be nicer than it is here... 80 degrees and not a trace of humidity. here it will be a sweltering gym bag of heat and dampness. the hotel has a rooftop pool. and i'm going to see if i can some medicinal marijuana while i'm out there. just kidding. all of the dispensaries are in LA.

but can i tell you how fabulously happy i am to by flying cross-country with United? i just hope that they don't decide to lay off people while we're in the air. i can see the flight attendants strapping on parachutes, jumping out of the emergency exit with pink slip in hand, leaving us to fight over the last crumpled bag of salty peanuts.

i think i might need some xanax.
