have a happy crappy xmas

ok, so i've worked at crate and barrel for about 2 weeks now. they put on the xmas music the day after thanksgorging, and i'm already SICK TO FUCK OF CHRISTMAS MUSIC!!!!

enough with the dashing through the snow and jingle bells and all that rot. every night, after my shift, i want to drive home listening to metalica to get that stench of xmas out of my ears. and the CD is about 3 hours long, which means that every 3 hours, i hear paul mccartney's "wonderful christmas" song. and it makes me want to take a Wusthof Presentation Steak Knife and jam it in my ear. not to mention a remake (and let's face it, they're ALL remakes) with some 50s broad bellowing about Frosty to a techno beat accompaniment. i'll take our old CD with non-christmas reggae remakes anytime. hell, i'd rather listen to dave matthews.

ugh. i have to work tonight, too. mabye i'll bring earplugs.
