thoughts on lazy, dog-dangling afternoon
1. it's possible to eat an entire pan of brownies, especially if you don't actually bake them.
2. that geico gekko is really annoying, especially with that affected, british, cockney accent.
3. there are several pets with myspace accounts.
4. construction works makes a lot of noise.
5. i am lumped in the "weirdo" group with all of those other jobless people that hang out in Sulzer library in the middle of the day.
6. there are a lot of strange jobs out there, and they all seem to be calling me.
7. it's hard to relax when you don't have a job. i guess if i had resigned to just being jobless, it would be a lot easier to just sit around and enjoy my time off. but i feel like i always have to be looking online, returning calls, rewriting cover letters.
8. cover letters should be called bullshit letters.
that's all for now. i'm sure i'll come up with some strange stuff later.

and it's the joblessness that sets us real weirdos apart. i have to say that most of the people there were of the AARP crowd and of the NCAA crowd. and it's a beautiful library.
