mode: calming down

ok, so i'm not so nervous anymore. i had a good goodbye at work today. several people were helpful with job hints and telling me who might be hiring. i also found out that i can get unemployment, so that's a relief.

so now i see another problem that i was already thinking was happening... i am going to be even more attached to this stupid laptop. i've been on it all night. and not all of it sending out resumes.

and here's another huge question: what the hell am i going to do tomorrow?

i pose this question to you working people out there: if you are at work, tell me what you wish you could be doing right now instead of working.

there were millions of things i would wish i could be doing while i was at work, but once i got off, it didn't seem that appealing. so, help me out. shopping at marshall fields? rollerblading along the lake? spying on your neighbor? spitting on cars from overpasses? watching demolition people tear down buildings?

speaking of that, here are some pictures from what's going on across the street:

I would definitely sell a little piece of my soul for a cushy, dead end civil service job...oh wait, I did that last year. They're always hiring.
