crabbing out

to be honest, i've been in a funk. i was really crabby last night, but we went out to dinner with friends and it was good. it just seems like something is always annoying me lately. allow me to demonstrate:

i came home yesterday from work, sweating my butt off, and my damn key wouldn't work in the door. argh! then i finally get in (after swearing like a sailor in the courtyard with people's windows open)and i get the mail, which has been SHOVED into the box. so all of the magazines and letters are all smooshed. i hate our mail carrier. then i get up to the apartment, where my cat has (again) peed on the rug in the bathroom. sigh. then i opened a letter from the IRS that told me that i had miscalculated my taxes and i owe them another $331. bigger sigh. i think i gave up at that point. just sat on the couch like a lump and wished for central air.

mark my words... next year, we will be in a place with c/a, a dishwasher and laundry that works. oh yeah, when we went to do laundry on friday, only one of three of the washers was working. when we went back down on sunday, the signs were off, which
mean that they were back up and running. not so. so we had to do two loads over... a total of 6 loads in one washing machine. yeah, i'm sick of this place.

alright, i'm done complaining. my clothes are clean, last night it was beautiful outside and right now i'm in AC. and i get free pizza today. today will be better.
