Honey Moons, June 5

in case you didn't know, we went to Disney World on our honeymoon. we got there june 5 and left june 10, which wasn't nearly enough time to get our mouse on, but we had fun nonetheless. here is how we spent our days:

june 5
we got to the airport around 10 am, i think. we got off at the terminal we thought we were flying out of, just to be told that we were really flying out another terminal and that we had to go outside and walk around and go stand in line over there. we were off to a bad start. but finally we got our tickets and got to our gate. we had a connecting flight in charlotte, where scott posed for this picture:

then we got on your flight to orlando. we got to the airport around 1pm and went to go check into the Disney Magical Express Bus, that would take us to the resort. they won't let you on unless you have a resort reservation... and it appeared that we were not on the list. of course. but we had the itinerary which clearly showed that we had reservations, so they let us on (with actually no problem, so we didn't even have to raise a stink). the host by the velvet ropes singled us out at newlyweds and proceeded to announce it to the whole section of th airport, which was kind of funny. he also gave scott a list of pointers, which included, "don't ever give her a present that has a cord." i laughed out loud. so no vacuum cleaners for me!

when we got to the hotel, we went up to the room, grabbed our stuff and headed for the magic kingdom. since the haunted mansion was closing for refurbishment starting the next day, we had to get our butts down there. here's what else we did by 8:30pm:

Big Thunder Mountain
Pirates of the Caribbean
Swiss Family Tree House
We ate some ice cream mickey ears
Tomorrowland Transit Authority
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin
Haunted Mansion again

and then we were spent and went back to the hotel.
