life is back to normal... finally

i am here, on my couch, blogging while scott is playing video games. ah, it's good to be married. of course, now i have nothing interesting to blog about.

we ate dinner tonight with some friends, which is a very "married" thing to do. we ate at essence of india, which was an excellent place. the thing here is that i've never had indian food. i've had thai, mexican (and taco bell doesn't count), lebanese, turkish (as of friday), ethiopian, cuban, japanese, chinese, american (duh), italian, french, pan american... i think that's it. i'm sure i'm missing something important, but i'll update if that happens. but we sat around talking about all of the cool places we've eaten at in the city. it's really endless. i could live until i'm 80 and still never come close to trying all of the restaurants available in chicago. it seems we're all big fans of the little holes in walls, the ones that seat maybe 20 people and it's family run and they're really friendly. but the problem with those places is that they don't want to stay small very long and they'l grow and change and become places you don't want to eat at anymore. but no worries, since there's some other place down the street that will suit your needs.

anyway, i'm too boring to keep typing. i'm going to go lurk on other people's blogs now.
