the *sigh* coffee shop
so, i can tell when the coffee shop is no longer in our sights when annette starts to get bitter about it.
mikraas: i mean, maybe there's a chance we'll get that loan??
annetteboo: I'll call him today to find out what we need to do
annetteboo: I really doubt it
mikraas: man, this blows
annetteboo: they already denied us
annetteboo: the chances they will say..
mikraas: yeah, but that's because they f*cked up
annetteboo: "oh yeah okay now we'll give you money"
annetteboo: are pretty slim
unless i happen to stumble across a bag of money on my way home, the coffee shop is a goner. so long are my dreams of standing on my feet all day, slinging out coffee to people desperate to get away from starbucks. never will i come home smelling of steamed milk and burned coffee. nor will i ever have to put annette in detox to get her down off of her caffeine high from eating espresso beans. it's just too sad to comprehend.
to corporate america: YOU'VE WON THIS ROUND, YOU REPUBLICAN WHORES!! soon, some of your money will be mine!! even if i have to scrape coffee grounds out from under my bitten down nails, i will succeed!!! oh, yes!

i'll let scott do the 'whip it good' comment.
my coworker stephanie suggests you just keep plugging, trying to get loans, keeping yourselves out there.. sooner or later your names will ripple more and more into the general banking pool, forcing banks to notice you more.. i dunno. it sounded reasonable when she explained it. :P
